감각통합 장애가 있는 아동들에게 환경에 대한 부적응, 사회적 관계형성 기술 부족 등의 문제가 나타나는 이유는 무엇인가? | 감각통합의 기능장애는 크게 감각조절장애(Sensory modulation disorder)와 실행 장애(Dyspraxia)로 분류된다. 감각조절장애는 감각반응에 대해 과잉, 과소 또는 감각추구의 증상을 보이며 행동적, 감정적, 신체적 반응이 비적응적으로 나타나게 되고[12], 실행 장애는 이미 습득된 행동이 아닌 발달과정 중에 일어나는 운동계획의 어려움을 말하며[13], 이러한 실행에 어려움이 있는 아동들은 자조활동, 비효율적인 운동기술, 서투른 움직임으로 또래와의 놀이 활동 시 활동을 의도치 않게 방해하여 상호작용이 와해되기도 한다[14, 15]. 이로 인해 감각통합 장애가 있는 아동들에게 환경에 대한 부적응, 사회적 관계형성 기술 부족, 의사소통 기술의 문제 등이 나타난다[16]. |
