행복감이란 무엇인가? | 인간은 태어나면서부터 궁극적인 행복의 가치를 추구한다. 행복감은 성별이나 지위, 계층에 관계없이 보편적으로 추구하는 가치로 생활에서 충분한 만족과 기쁨을 느끼어 흐뭇한 상태를 말한다[1]. 특히 아동기의 행복감은 아동이 일상생활에서 주관적으로 지각하는 긍정적인 정서의 상태 및 생활만족도를 나타내며 인생전반에 걸쳐 만족스러운 경험을 제공하기 때문에 성인기의 행복감보다 더 주목해야할 필요가 있다[2]. | |
아동이 느끼는 행복의 요건에는 무엇이 있는가? | 한편 아동이 느끼는 행복의 요건을 살펴보면 자아존중감, 경제수준인식, 학업수행능력, 부모와의 친밀한 관계, 부모애착, 또래관계 순으로 나타났고[6][7] 저소득층 아동·청소년을 중심으로 살펴본 결과 가족지지가 친구의 지지 보다 큰 것으로 밝혀졌다[8]. 즉 아동의 행복감을 결정하는 가장 큰 요인으로 부모와의 관계가 친밀하고 애착이 돈독하며 사랑의 행위로 자신이 돌봄을 받았다고 느꼈을 때 가장 행복하다고 하였다[9]. |
