본 연구는 간호대학생의 다문화 개방성, 고정관념, 다문화 수용성, 다문화 효능감의 정도를 알아보고, 다문화 효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악함으로써 다문화 효능감을 향상시키기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 B, Y시의 간호대학생 299명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집은 2017년 5월 8일부터 5월 26일까지 였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 program을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 다문화 효능감은 평균 $3.92{\pm}0.54$점 이었으며, 일반적 특성에 따른 다문화 효능감은 연령(F=4.516, p=.012), 다문화 학생과의 수업경험(t=2.131, p=.034), 외국어 수강경험(t=2.133, p=.034), 외국인 친구(t=2.759, p=.006)에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 다문화 개방성, 고정관념, 다문화 수용성, 다문화 효능감과의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 다문화 효능감은 다문화 개방성(r=.396, p<.001), 다문화 수용성(r=.471, p<.001)과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈고, 고정관념(r=-.464, p<.001)과는 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 다문화 효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 외국인 친구(t=2.021, p=.048), 고정관념(t=-6.363, p<.001), 다문화 수용성(t=6.122, p<.001)으로 나타났고, 다문화 효능감을 35.5% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 간호대학생의 다문화 효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하는 반복연구가 필요하다. 또한 다문화 효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 교육 및 프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

The purpose of this study was to explore degree of multicultural openness, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability, and multicultural efficacy, the factors influencing of multicultural efficacy of nursing students and to provide the basic data to increased multicultural efficacy. This research involved 299 nursing students in B and Y city. Data were collected from May 8, 2017 to 28. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. In results of the study, multiculture efficacy appeared as $3.92{\pm}0.54$. There were significant difference in multicultural efficacy with age, experience of class with multicultural students, experience of other languages class, foreign friends. There were positive correlation between multicultural efficacy and multicultural openness(r=.396, p<.001), between multicultural efficacy and multicultural acceptability(r=.471, p<.001), negative correlation between multicultural efficacy and preoccupation (r=-.464, p<.001). Regression analysis showed 36.1% of variance in nursing students multicultural efficacy can by age, foreign friends, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the various factors affecting multicultural efficacy of nursing students. And it is necessary to development education and program that can enhance multicultural efficacy is required.

다문화 수용성은 문화적 차이, 문화다양성의 차원,사회적인 편견과 차별의 차원, 국민정체성, 시티즌십 차원 등 세가지 차원으로 구성되는 복합적인 개념으로[14], 본 연구에서는 An et al[13]이 개발하여 사용한 도구를 Kim[15]이 수정 보완한 도구를 사용하여 측정하였다. 이 도구는 다양성(6문항), 관계성(6문항), 보편성(6문항) 16문항으로 구성되어 있고, ‘전혀 그렇지 않다’ 1점에서 ‘매우 그렇다’ 5점 까지, 점수가 높을수록 다문화 수용성이 높음을 의미한다.
다문화 효능감은 다문화와 관련된 자신감으로 다문화와 관련된 개인의 지각된 능력수준을 의미하며[16] 개인이 일정한 상황에서 특정한 결과를 산출하는데 요구되는 일련의 조치를 조직하고 실행해낼 수 있는 자기 확신의 자신감과 신념을 말한다[17]. 본 연구에서 다문화 효능감 척도는 Guyton, Wesche[18]에 의해 개발된 것을Lim, Oh[19]가 청소년을 대상으로 사용한 도구에서 일반기능, 수업기능, 인간관계 증진, 다문화 가정배려 등 4개의 요인 14문항 중 수업기능 측면을 제외한 총 10문항을 사용하여 측정하였다. 5점 Likert 척도로, 점수가 높을수록 다문화 효능감이 높은 것을 의미한다.

	다문화 효능감은 무엇이며 부족할 경우 문제점은 무엇인가?	따라서 미래의 간호사로 준비되는 간호대학생은 다문화 사회의 다문화 대상자를 간호해야할 전문직업인으로 성장하기 위해 다문화에 대한 이해나 환경에 적극적으로 대처할 수 있는 능력을 향상시키는 다문화 효능감이 준비되어야 한다[5]. 다문화 효능감은 다문화 환경에 능동적이고 적극적으로 대처하는 자신감으로 다문화 효능감이 부족할 경우 문화적 갈등을 초래할 수 있고 대상자에 대해 가지는 고정관념도 증가하는 문제가 발생한다[6]. 다문화에 대한 고정관념은 외국인에 대한 차별적인 태도가 근거가 된다[7].
