스트레스가 암생존자의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 과정에 외상 후 성장이 어떻게 조절효과를 발휘하는가? | 더 나아가 삶의 질의 하위요인 중 정서적 및 기능적 삶의 질에서만 외상 후 성장의 조절효과가 나타냈다. 즉 외상 후 성장의 수준에 관계없이 스트레스가 높아지면 정서적 및 기능적 삶의 질 수준도 낮아지지만, 외상 후 성장의 수준이 낮을 때보다 높을 때 스트레스가 정서적 및 기능적 삶의 질에 더 적은 영향을 미쳤다. 게다가 스트레스 수준이 높더라도 외상 후 성장의 수준이 높으면 스트레스가 심하고 외상 후 성장의 수준이 낮을 때에 비해 정서적 및 기능적 삶의 질의 수준이 훨씬 덜 낮아지는 것으로 나타나 외상 후 성장이 스트레스가 높을 때 보호요인으로 작용함을 보여주었다. 이러한 결과는 유방암 투병과정에서 생긴 외상 후 스트레스가 환자의 삶의 질에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 외상 후 성장이 완화시킨다는[23]와 스트레스가 암환자의 정서적 삶의 질에 미치는 부정적 영향을 완화시킨다는 [22]과 유사한 것이다. |
