This study investigated the longitudinal transition of adolescents' psychological character profiles, which includes self-esteem, acculturative stress, depression, and social withdrawal, and the predictive effects of parental efficacy, families' support, and friends' support in multicultural families. The sample consisted of 1,188 adolescents in elementary school, who were re-examined in three years, when they were in middle school from the part of waves 2 and 6 of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study. A latent profile analysis identified three distinct profiles of psychological character among adolescents in elementary school and middle school: stable, social withdrawal, and unstable. As compared to elementary school, adolescents' psychological characteristics stayed stable and played critical roles on the latent classes. Parental efficacy, and supports from family and friends played critical roles on the latent classes. Specifically, as adolescents perceived full of supports from friends, they were more likely to make transitions to the stable group. Implications for intervention in multicultural families are discussed.

제안 방법

다문화청소년의 문화적응스트레스 전이 양상을 확인 하기위해 다문화청소년패널조사의 2차년도(2012년)와 6차년도(2016년)의 총10문항중 신뢰도를 저해하는 1문항을 제거한 각 9문항을 사용하였다.
둘째, 초등학교와 중학교시기의 다문화청소년의 심리적 특성에 기초한 잠재집단을 확인하기위해 잠재프로파일분석(Latentprofileanalysis:LPA)을 실시하였다.
초등학교시기(2차년도 자료)와 중학교시기(6차년도 자료)의 최적의 잠재집단 수를 확인하기 위해 두시점 각각에서 잠재프로파일분석을 실시하였다.

대상 데이터

다문화청소년패널조사는 다문화청소년에 대한객관적인 특성을 파악하기위해2011년부터 시작된 패널자료이며, 본 연구에서는 한국인 아버지와 외국인 어머니로구성된 가정의 1,188명의 데이터를사용하였다.
다문화청소년의 우울전이 양상을 확인하기위해 다문화청소년패널조사의 2차년도(2012년)와 6차년도(2016년)의 각10문항을 사용하였다.
본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원 다문화청소년패널조사의 2차년도(2012년)와 6차년도(2016년)자료를사용하였다.
첫 번째 잠재집단은 자아존중감점수는 가장 높은 반면, 문화적응스트레스, 우울, 사회적위축 점수가 가장 낮기 때문에 ‘안정형 집단’으로 명명하였으며, 초등학교시기(2차년도 자료)536명(45.1%), 중학교시기(6차년도 자료)525명(44.2%)이 포함되었다.
한국청소년정책연구원에 계획서제출후 승인을받은후다문화청소년패널조사(https://www.nypi.re.kr/archive)의2차년도(2012년)와 6차년도(2016년)자료를사용하였다.

데이터처리

선행연구에 기초하여잠재집단 및 전이과정에영향을 미치는 요인으로방임적양육태도, 부모효능감, 가족의지지, 친구의지지를 선정하고 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, ‘불안정형집단’을기준집단으로 설정하였다.

성능/효과

1) 초등학교와 중학교 시기의 다문화 가정청소년의 심리적 특성에 기초한 잠재집단은 각각 몇 개로 유형화할 수있는지 확인하다.
Table2에 제시되어 있듯이, AIC, BIC, SABIC, Entropy, LMR, BLRT, 분류의 질, 해석 가능성을 종합적으로고려했을 때[35재인용] 두 시점 모두 세 개의잠재집단이 존재하는 것으로 판단하는것이 타당한 것으로 확인되었다.
그리고 방임적 양육태도 수준이 낮고, 부모효능감, 친구의지지수준이 높을수록 ‘불안정형 집단’보다는 ‘사회적 위축형 집단’에 포함될 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
두번째 잠재집단은 다른 잠재집단에 비해 사회적 위축 점수가 높기 때문에 ‘사회적 위축형 집단’으로 명명하였으며, 초등학교시기450명(37.9%), 중학교시기489명(41.2%)이 포함되었다.
둘째, 다문화 가정 청소년이 초등학교시기에서 중학교 시기를 거치는 과정에서 심리적 특성의 다양한 전이 양상이 나타나는 것으로 확인되었다.
마지막으로 잠재집단의 전이 과정에영향을 미치는 변인을 확인한 결과, 친구의 지지 수준이 높을수록불안정형 집단에 계속 머무르기보다는 안정형 집단으로 전이될 확률이 높은 것으로 확인되었다.
본 연구결과는 다문화 가정 청소년이 초등학교 시기에서중학교시기를 거치는 과정에서 심리적 특성의 안정적인 양상도 나타나지만, 긍정적 변화및부정적 변화또한 나타난다는 것을 의미한다.
분석 결과, 초등학교 시기의 경우 방임적 양육태도 수준이 낮고, 부모효능감, 친구의지지 수준이 높을수록 ‘불안정형 집단’보다는 ‘안정형 집단’, ‘사회적 위축형 집단’에 포함될 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.
분석결과, 첫째, 2012년도 자료(초등학교시기)를기준으로 비교했을 때, 방임적 양육태도 수준이 낮고, 부모효능감, 가족의지지, 친구의지지 수준이 높을수록 ‘불안정형집단’보다는 ‘안정형 집단’에 포함될 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 본연구에서는 패널데이터의 한 계로인해다문화가정청소년의 심리적 특성잠재집단의전이 과정에 영향을 미치는 개인 특성변인을 살펴보지못했는데, 후속연구에서는 다문화가정청소년의 개인특성변인을 포함하여 분석한다면보다 풍성한 정보를제공할 수 있을 것 이다.
첫째, 본연구에서는 초등학교와 중학교시기간심리적 특성잠재집단의 전이 과정을 살펴보았는데, 후속연구에서는 학업적스트레스가 증가하는 고등학교시기까지의 잠재집단의 전이 과정을살펴볼필요가있을 것이다.
