Purpose: This study is an integrative review of previous research conducted on family-school nurse partnership in school health care, as perceived by school nurses, children, and families. Method: The study was conducted according to the five stages of integrative review suggested by Whittemore and Knafl (2005), which involved problem identification, literature search, data evaluation, data analysis, and presentation of results. Suitable literature was found using portals such as PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, and Web of Science. Key words such as school nurses, family, parents, children, and partnership were used to narrow the search results. Studies published in peer-review journals between 2006-2018 were selected. The quality of studies was appraised using critical appraisal tools provided by the Joanna Briggs Institute (2020). Result: Thirteen studies (5 quantitative and 8 qualitative) were finalized for the final review process. After an extensive review, four key themes of school nurse-family partnership in school health care were identified: partnership components, partnership barriers, partnership facilitators, and strategies to promote partnership. Conclusion: Partnership and its components, barriers, and facilitators, along with strategies for its promotion should be considered in school health care. Further studies are needed on the perceptions held by parents and children regarding school health care partnership.

대상 데이터

2006~2018년 동안 동료평가 되어 영어로 출판된 학술지에 게재된 문헌과 출판 중 문헌을 선정하였다. 검색당시 국내 데이터베이스 RISS, KISS, NDSL에서의 국내 연구는 부재하였다.
76개의 논문 중 서술적 연구가 22개, 중재 연구가 6개, 대상자가 보건교사와 가족이 아닌 경우가 13개, 파트너십에 대한 경험이나 인식이 아닌 경우가 22개로 분석되어, 63개의 논문이 제거되었다. 최종적으로 13개의 논문이 선택되었다(Figure 1).

데이터처리

하나의 패턴이 다른 패턴을 포괄하는지 또는 일부분이 되는지, 추상성과 구체성을 확인하였다(Whittemore & Knafl, 2005). 결과의 합성은 수렴적 통합접근(convergent integrated approach)으로 계수와 내용 분석방법(content analysis)을 적용하였다. 양적연구의 경우 결과를 긍정적인 패턴과 부정적인 패턴으로 분류하여 집계하여 많이 도출되는 패턴으로 카테고리를 기록하였다.
반복적으로 연구결과를 읽으며 핵심결과의 일정한 패턴과 연구들의 공통점과 특이점을 발견하고자 하였다. 시차를 두고 읽으며 과거의 패턴을 비교하고 대조하며 수정하였다. 하나의 패턴이 다른 패턴을 포괄하는지 또는 일부분이 되는지, 추상성과 구체성을 확인하였다(Whittemore & Knafl, 2005).

이론/모형

본 연구는 통합적 문헌고찰 연구로 Whittemore와 Knafl이 제시한 문제인식, 문헌검색, 자료평가, 자료분석, 자료제시 다섯 단계로 수행되었다(Whittemore & Knafl, 2005). 연구 진행은 2018년 12월부터 2020년 3월까지 수행되었다.
최종 선택된 13개 논문의 질 평가가 수행되었다. 질적연구, 양적연구에 대한 방법론적 질평가를 위한 Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI)의 도구를 이용하여 평가하였다(Lockwood et al., 2020; Munn, Moola, Lisy, Riitano, & Tufanaru, 2020). JBI는 혼합방법 체계적 고찰에서의 양적연구와 질적연구의 방법론적 질적 평가도구를 제시하고 있으며, 선정기준을 정할 것과 평가 결과를 표를 이용하거나 서술적으로 기술하도록 권고하고 있다(Lizarondo et al.

성능/효과

본 연구는 2006년부터 2018년까지 학교건강 파트너십 프로그램 개발을 위한 선행연구로 보건교사와 아동 및 학부모가 학교건강서비스에 대해 인식하는 가족과 보건교사 간 파트너십에 대한 문헌 13개에 대하여 질평가를 수행하여 통합적으로 고찰하였다. 자료의 합성을 통해 파트너십 요소, 파트너십 장애요인, 촉진요인 및 증진전략이 네 가지 주제가 도출되었다. 파트너십의 요소는 양방향성 의사소통, 정보공유, 부모참여와 역할 분담, 상호적 협력, 학생과 가족중심접근 및 전제 요건의 여섯 가지 하위주제가, 파트너십 장애요인으로 업무 장애요인과 가족관련 장애요인 두 가지 하위주제가 도출되었다.

후속연구

파트너십 촉진요인에는 보건교사관련 요인과 환경관련 요인 두 가지 하위주제가, 파트너십 증진 전략에 보건교사 개인의 노력과 행정적 지원의 두 가지 하위주제가 도출되었다. 학교건강서비스 파트너십에 대한 연구는 보건교사의 인식이 대부분으로 향후 학부모와 아동의 파트너십 인식을 확인하는 통합적 고찰연구 및 국내 학교건강서비스 실무현장에서의 파트너십 인식에 대한 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이며, 이를 기반으로 학교건강관리 파트너십 중재개발 연구가 필요함을 제언한다.

	학교건강 전문가는 어떤 사람이어야 하는가?	학교건강 전문가는 건강증진, 질병예방, 예방접종, 성장과 발달, 영양과 활동, 선별검사와 학습성과에 미치는 정신적·사회적·신체적 문제를 가진 아동의 개별화된 건강계획을 수립하는 실무전문가여야 하고, 아동·청소년 및 학부모와 의사소통하고 학제간·다학제간 협력하며, 아동과 청소년의 건강증진을 위한 우선순위를 결정하는 옹호자가 되어야 한다(WHO, 2014). 최근 천식, 당뇨, 음식 알레르기, 정신건강과 같은 만성적 건강문제를 가지는 아동의 증가추세에 따라 학교, 특히 보건교사의 만성질환에 대한 일상적 관리와 응급상황 관리를 포함하는 학교건강서비스 역할에 대한 요구가 더욱 증가하고 있다(CDC, 2019; Lineberry & Ickes, 2015; Woo, 2017).
