The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of perceived nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior on the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students. For this purpose, 231 nursing students from 4 university in 4 city were sampled for convenience. The result of this study were as follows:First, nursing professionalism of nursing students directly affected career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, which was statistically significant. Second, nursing professionalism showed mediating effects in relationship between career preparation behavior. Third, the major satisfaction of nursing students directly affected nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior. Based on the results of the research, it is necessary to develop an intervention program that strengthen major satisfaction of nursing students.

대상 데이터

본 연구대상자는 D시, G시, C시, K시 4개 도시에 위치한 간호대학에 재학 중인 간호대학생 중 본 연구목적에 동의하는 학생으로 편의추출하였다. 표본 수는 G-power 3.
05, 검정력 90%, 효과크기는 중간크기로 산출하였을 때 최소표본의 크기는 220명이었다. 탈락률을 10-20% 고려하여 264부의 설문지를 배부하였고 자료 수거 후 불성실한 혹은 미응답을 제외한 231부를 최종 연구대상으로 하였다.

데이터처리

연구대상자의 일반적 특성은 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차 등은 기술통계를 사용하였다. 대상자의 간호전문직관, 진로준비행동, 전공만족도의 관계는 Pearson's correlation coefficient를 이용하였고, 전공만족도와 진로준비행동 관계에서 간호전문직관의 매개효과 확인은 Sobel test를 통하여 유의성을 검증하였다.

이론/모형

본 연구에서는 Illonosis대학에서 개발된 Program Evaluation Survey를 Lee[16]가 수정·보완한 전공 만족도 도구를 사용하였다. 총 18문항으로 전공 학문에 대한 일반만족 6문항, 전공에 대한 사회적 인식에 대한 인식 만족 6문항, 교과에 대한 교과 만족 3문항, 교수 학생 간에 관계 만족 3문항으로 구성되어 있다.
본 연구에서는 Kim[14]이 개발한 도구를 Lee[15]이 수정한 도구를 사용하였다. 총 18개 문항으로 정보수집 행동 6문항, 도구준비행동 5문항, 목표달성 행동 7문항으로 구성되어 있다.
본 연구에서는 Yeun, Kwon과 Ahn[12]의 도구를 Jung[13]이 타당도를 검증한 도구로 사용하였다. 총 18문항 5점 Likert 척도로 ‘매우 그렇지 않다’ 1점부터 ‘매우 그렇다’ 5점까지이다.

성능/효과

본 연구의 결론은 간호대학생의 간호전문직관과 전공만족도가 높으면 진로준비행동이 높아지며, 간호전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향에서 전공만족도가 긍정적인 매개역할을 하는 것으로 알 수 있다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다.
