음악치료 국가자격증에 대한 음악치료사의 인식도 조사

본 연구의 목적은 음악치료 국가자격증에 대한 음악치료사의 인식도를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 설문 참여에 동의한 전국의 음악치료사를 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 배포한 후, 143부를 회수하여 분석하였다. 설문 문항은 음악치료사의 배경정보 10문항, 음악치료사 국가자격증 필요성 인식 11문항, 기대효과 8문항, 자격관리 7문항, 기타 의견 서술 1문항, 전체 37문항으로 구성되었다. 설문 결과, 음악치료사들은 음악치료사 국가자격증에 대해 필요성을 높게 인식하였으며, 특히 채용기관 관계자들의 음악치료 인식도가 낮다고 느낄 때 국가자격증의 필요성을 절감한다고 응답하였다. 응답자들은 민간자격증의 남발이 음악치료 전문성 및 서비스의 질을 낮출 수 있으며 이로 인해 직업 환경이나 처우에도 부정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 인식하고 있었다. 이로 인해 국가자격증을 사회적 인식 제고 및 음악치료사의 전문성 강화를 위한 방안으로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 단, 본 연구의 참여자가 국가자격증에 대한 정보를 충분히 보유하고 있지 않을 수 있다는 점과 단일화된 국가자격증으로의 전환이 야기할 수 있는 제한점 등을 고려할 때 본 연구의 결과는 신중하게 해석될 필요가 있다. 그럼에도 본 연구는 국가자격증에 대한 논의를 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 데 그 의의가 있다.
