본 연구의 목적은 중학교 기술·가정 교과서의 식생활 단원에서 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 연계한 학습 요소와 수업 주제를 선정하고, 교수·학습 과정안 및 학습 자료를 개발하여 타당성 및 현장 적합성을 검증받는 데 있다. 본 연구는 분석, 설계, 개발, 평가 단계를 거쳐 실행되었으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석 단계에서는 17개 지속가능목표, 169개 세부목표 중 식생활과 관련한 세부목표를 추출하고, 2015 개정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 5종의 식생활 단원 내용을 분석하여 본 연구에서 개발할 교수·학습 과정안에서 다룰 수 있는 학습 요소를 추출하였다. 둘째, 설계 단계에서는 교과서 분석 내용을 바탕으로 '청소년의 바람직한 식생활', '식품의 생산', '식품의 유통', '식품의 소비 및 폐기'로 수업 주제를 선정하였다. 효과적인 수업이 이루어질 수 있도록 전체 수업의 총괄목표를 설정하고 개발될 식생활 영역 차시별 수업의 학습 목표, 학습 내용, 학습 방법과 함께 관련된 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 연계하여 수업을 설계하였다. 셋째, 개발 단계에서는 총 9개 주제, 11차시의 교수·학습 과정안과 전문가에게 검증받을 타당도 평가지를 개발하였다. 넷째, 평가 단계에서는 가정과 교사 5인의 전문가를 통해 교수·학습 과정안의 현장 적합성과 타당도를 검증받았으며, 검토의견을 토대로 총 9개 주제, 13차시의 교수·학습 과정안으로 수정·보완하여 완성하였다.
