본 연구는 서울과 경기도 지역 3개 대학의 4년제 유아교육학과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사를 대상으로 인성이 유아권리 인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 설문조사를 실시하였다. 예비유아교사 253부의 설문지를 분석한 내용을 토대로 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 인성은 유아권리인식에 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 인성이 유아권리인식에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 인성의 요인 중 사회관계 요인이 유아권리인식을 예측하는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실증분석을 통해 예비유아교사의 인성이 유아의 권리 보장을 위한 기초가 되는 유아권리인식에 중요한 역할을 하는 요인임을 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
