사서교사가 인식하는 직무 역할과 역량 수준 분석

본 연구의 목적은 사서교사의 직무별 중요도와 타 교원과 학생의 기대 직무에 대한 인식을 확인하며 사서교사가 인식하는 직무 수행 역량의 정도를 파악하여 사서교사의 직무 인식에 대한 기초정보를 얻고 중점적으로 개선해야 할 사서교사의 직무를 도출하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여, 임정훈 외(2021)가 선정한 25개의 직무를 수정한 뒤 사서교사 210명을 대상으로 사서교사 자신의 직무별 중요도, 타 교원과 학생의 기대 직무별 중요도 그리고 사서교사 자신의 수행 역량 인식 수준을 측정하였다. 분석 결과, 사서교사는 '독서교육과 리터러시 교육'을 가장 중요하게 인식하였으나 타 교원과 학생의 기대 직무로 '도서관 행사'를 가장 중요하게 인식하였으며 '도서관 이용지도' 수행 역량이 가장 뛰어나다고 인식하였다. 그리고 중점적으로 사서교사의 역량 향상이 필요한 직무로는 '콘텐츠 큐레이션', '다른 교사의 도서관활용수업 지원', '디지털 기능과 기술 활용', '교수학습매체 제작', '정보의 접근과 공정이용', '교수설계 및 구현', '정보윤리와 저작권 교육', '미디어 정보 리터러시 교육', '협력수업'을 포함한 9개의 직무로 나타났다.
