1. 천연추출물의 항균효능 평가
가. 식품공전 및 문헌조사를 통한 식물유래 천연물 43종 선정
- 천연보존제 적용 항균성 물질 추출을 위해 식품공전 및 문헌조사를 통한 식물유래 천연물(한방천연물 20종, 개화식물 14종,수목류 9종)총 43종을 선정.

○ 연구결과
1. 천연추출물의 항균효능 평가
가. 식품공전 및 문헌조사를 통한 식물유래 천연물 43종 선정
- 천연보존제 적용 항균성 물질 추출을 위해 식품공전 및 문헌조사를 통한 식물유래 천연물(한방천연물 20종, 개화식물 14종,수목류 9종)총 43종을 선정.
나.후보물질 선별을 위한 추출법 개발
- 식품 적용성과 항균성을 평가하기 위해 1차적으로 열수추출법에 의해 다양한 천연물의 추출물 제조.선별된 43종의 한방천연물,개화식물 및 수목류를 각각 분쇄하여 용매추출이 최적화 될 수 있도록 만든 후,농축된 추출물을 필터링하고 동결건조하여 파우더 형태화 함.
- 추출기법 최적화를 위해 통계 프로그램인 중심합성계획법을 적용함.분쇄한 후보물질에 증류수와 에탄올의 비율을 100%,50%,0%로 제조하여 가하고 수직환류냉각관을 부착한 후,각 온도에서 일정시간 추출함.분쇄된 후보물질은 추출용매(에탄올 100%,에탄올 50%,에탄올 0%),추출온도 (60,70,80℃),추출시간(60,120,180분)에 따라 추출함.
- 중심합성계획법에 적용한 15가지의 추출조건으로부터 얻은 항균효능 및 수율을 MiniTAP 통계프로그램에 대입하여 각 후보물질마다 최적의 추출조건을 적용균주와 수율에 따라 각각 다르게 산출함.
다. 천연추출물의 1차적 항균효능 평가
- 천연추출물의 1차적 항균효능 평가를 위해 대표적인 식품오염 지표균인 E.coli, B.cereus, S.aureus를 선정 .E.coli에 대한 추출물의 항균효능 평가결과,감초,육계,목단피,백작약,오배자, 황련 6가지 천연물이 탁월한 항균효능이 있는 것으로 평가됨.B.cereus에 대한 추출물의 항균효능 평가결과,감초,육계,목단피,반지련,백작약,소엽,오매,오배자,유자,황련,갈매보리수, 백련 12가지 천연물이 탁월한 항균효능이 있는 것으로 평가됨.S.aureus에 대한 추출물의 항균효능 평가결과,감초,육계,목단피,반지련,백작약,오배자, 황련, 녹차, 소목, 생두 10가지 천연물이 탁월한 항균효능이 있는 것으로 평가됨.
- 1차적 항균효능 평가 결과,3가지 대상균에 대해 공통적으로 뚜렷한 항균효능을 나타낸 천연물은 감초,육계,목단피,백작약,오배자,황련으로 해당 6가지 천연물을 1차적으로 선정.
라. 대상 천연물 추출물에 대한 2,3차적 항균효능 평가를 통한 최적 추출조건 선정
- 중심합성계획법에 의거한 15가지 조건,MiniTAP 통계프로그램에 의거한 5가지 조건 등 총 20가지 조건에서 분리한 추출물의 항균효능을 평가하여 1차적으로 선별된 6가지 천연물의 최적화 추출조건을 선정함.
마. 천연물 추출물과 화학보존제와의 항균효능 비교 평가
- 국내 및 식품수입에 주로 쓰이는 화학보존제 성분과 6가지 천연추출물의 항균효능 비교를 통해, 향후 대상 천연추출물의 천연식품보존제로서의 적용성 및 타당성을 평가함.4가지 화학보존제 성분 모두 3가지 대상균에 대해 항균활성을 나타냈으나,대상균에 특이적 항균활성을 보인 감초,육계를 제외한 나머지 천연물 모두 화학보존제 성분보다 뛰어난 항균효능을 보이는 것으로 분석됨. 이를 통해 이들 천연물의 배합으로 개발되는 천연보존제에 대해 우수한 항균효능 및 안전성을 보유하는 식품보존제 성분으로서의 활용성을 검증함.
바. 항균효능 극대화를 위한 최적의 혼합조성비 산출
- 선정된 6가지 천연물의 최적화 추출물을 다양한 조성과 비율로 혼합하여 최대의 항균효능을 보이는 최적의 조성비 formulation을 선정하여 천연보존제를 개발하고,각각의 식품 위해균에 대해 항균효능을 평가함.감초,목단피, 황련을 혼합하고, 오배자, 백작약, 육계를 혼합한 결과,감초 :목단피 :황련 =1:2:7,오배자 :백작약 :육계 =7:2:1일 때 항균활성이 가장 우수함을 확인함.
사. 천연보존제 적용 최종 물질 선정을 통한 천연보존제 제조 및 항균효능 최적화
- 항균효능,인체 안전성,항산화 및 항암 기능성,관능평가에 의한 제품성,경제성을 포함한 5가지 항목에 대해 각 천연추출물과 혼합추출물을 평가한 결과를 바탕으로,오배자,백작약,감초,육계 총 4가지 천연물을 최종 후보물질로 선정하고,이들의 최적 혼합 조성비를 산출하여 주요 채소류 오염균에 대한 99.9%의 항균능을 가지는 천연보존제를 제조함.
2. 천연추출물의 안전성 검증
가. 세포 대상 천연추출물의 1차적 안전성 평가
- 선별된 6가지 천연물을 정상 세포주인 쥐 배아 섬유아세포에 처리하여 1차적 인체안전성을 세포실험을 통해 평가한 결과,추출물의 독성이 전반적으로 약하거나 거의 영향을 미치지 않음을 확인하였고,오배자와 황련의 경우,실제 인체의 표면적(대상시료의 농도/인체 표면적)을 고려할 경우 독성이 미약할 것으로 분석됨.
나. 동물실험을 통한 천연추출물의 인체안전성 평가
- ICR mouse를 대상으로 천연추출물의 독성 및 인체안전성 평가를 수행함.해부학적 평가를 위해 천연물 추출물을 투여한 후 몸무게 및 간 무게의 변화량을 측정한 결과,6가지 천연물 모두 안전한 것으로 평가됨.효소학적 평가를 위해 ALT 및 AST 효소의 활성을 측정한 결과,ALT 효소에 대해서는 6가지 천연물 처리 결과 모두 적정수치 내에 포함됐으며,AST 효소에 대해서는 감초와 육계를 제외한 목단피,황련,오배자,백작약 4가지 천연물이 적정수치 내에 포함됨.급성실험에서 나온 수치를 식품첨가물로 섭취하는 장기적 복용 용량으로 환산하고,제품화시 20배 이상 희석되는 추출물 농도를 적용할 경우 감초와 육계도 안전성이 유효한 것으로 평가됨.따라서 6가지 천연물 추출물에 대한 해부학적 효소학적 인체안전성을 확보함.
3. 천연추출물의 기능성 평가
가. 천연추출물의 라디칼 소거능 평가를 통한 갈변억제 효과 분석
- 천연추출물의 갈변억제 효능을 평가하기 위해 천연물의 DPPH radical소거능력을 통한 산화방지 능력을 평가한 결과,6가지 천연물 모두 라디칼 소거능을 지닌 것으로 확인됨.특히 목단피,오배자,백작약추출물의 경우,0.1mg/mL의 낮은 농도에서도 라디칼 소거능이 70% 이상임을 확인하였고,백작약추출물이 가장 뛰어난 라디칼 소거능을 보이는 것을 확인함.위 결과를 통해 6가지 천연추출물 모두 라디칼 소거능을 가짐으로서 갈변 방지 효능에 적합한 소재임을 확인함.
나. 천연추출물의 세포 내 항산화 효능 평가
- 배양 동물 및 인간 세포에 H2O2로 산화적 스트레스를 유발한 후,천연물을 처리하여 배양함.
Trypanblue로 염색한 후,세포수를 측정하여 H2O2가 유도하는 산화적 손상에 대해 각 천연물이 세포보호 효과를 나타내는지 세포 생존율,세포사멸 apoptosis완화능,세포주기 조절기전 분석을 통해 평가한 결과,백작약,목단피,소목,백련,생두,갈매보리수나무 열매,반지련 등 천연물의 추출물이 산화적 세포 손상에 대해 보호 효능이 뛰어나다는 점을 규명함.
다. 천연추출물의 항암효능 평가
- 인간 간암세포(HepG2),자궁경부암세포(HeLa),위암세포(AGS)에 천연물 처리 후,MTT assay를 통해 세포 생존율과 이와 관련된 지표물질을 평가함.백작약,목단피,소목,반지련추출물이 농도 의존적으로 간암세포와 자궁경부암세포에 대해 세포 생존율을 감소시키는 것을 확인함. 특히 간암세포에 대해서는 감초추출물이,자궁경부암 세포에 대해서는 감초와 목단피추출물의 효능이 가장 뛰어남을 규명함.
라. 혼합추출물의 기능성 평가
- 항균성 및 갈변억제능이 우수한 천연물 혼합물과 최종 천연보존제 제품에 함유된 추출물 혼합물 (백작약 :오배자 :감초)에 대한 라디칼 소거능 평가 결과,합성항산화제 대비 우수한 항산화능을 나타냈고,산화적 손상에 대한 세포보호 효과도 2배 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인함.천연추출물 혼합 물 처리 시 암세포주에 대한 세포증식 억제 효과를 확인하였고 암세포 사멸과 관련된 분자마커의
변화 규명을 통해,선정된 천연물 추출혼합물과 최종 천연보존제 제품의 기능성을 검증함.
4.천연추출물 유효성분의 정성ㆍ정량분석
가.선별된 천연추출물 유효성분의 정성ㆍ정량분석
-선별된 6가지 천연물의 유효성분을 HPLC를 이용해 분석함.항산화 및 항균과 관련된 감초의 유효 성분인 quercetin,육계의 유효성분인 cinnamicacid,목단피의 유효성분인 paeonol,황련의 유효성분인 berberine,백작약의 유효성분인 paeoniflorin,오배자의 유효성분인 gallicacid에 대해 정성ㆍ정량적으로 분석함으로서,기능성에 대한 천연물별 지표물질을 검출함.
5.채소류 적용성 평가
가.선별된 천연물의 제품성 평가
- 제품성 평가는 적용성 평가 후, 색, 향, 맛 등을 관능평가 함으로써 이루어짐. 당근에 천연물을 처리한 후 기호도를 조사한 결과,목단피,황련,육계는 한약재 특유의 향으로 인하여 낮은 점수를 평가 받았고 황련의 경우 색소성분이 관능평가 시료의 고유의 색을 변질시켜 점수가 낮게 평가됨.
감초,오배자,백작약이 비교적 높은 평가를 받음.
나.천연보존제 후보물질 처리에 따른 식품 품질 평가
-천연물 처리에 따른 중량 변화를 측정하기 위하여 상추, 피망, 오이를 천연물에 침지시킨 후, 시간 변화에 따른 중량 변화를 측정함.오배자추출물 처리 시,상추의 중량변화가 가장 적었으며, 목단피추출물 처리 시, 피망, 오이의 중량변화가 가장 적었으나 대조군과 비교해서 유의적 차이는 없음을 확인함.
다.시작품의 식품 보존능 및 적용성 평가
-천연추출물 처리 후 채소 및 과실류 표면색도 변화를 통한 갈변도 억제 효능 평가를 실시함.콜라비, 사과, 화이트로즈에 최종 후보물질인 감초,오배자,백작약,육계추출물을 처리한 결과,백작약, 오배자,감초 혼합추출물과 오배자, 육계 혼합추출물이 우수한 효능을 나타내어 최종 시제품 선택에 있어 판단의 근거로 채택함.
-관능평가를 위해 양상추, 당근, 방울토마토에 다양한 혼합추출물 처리 후, 외관, 향, 맛, 씹힘성, 전체적인 기호도를 평가한 결과, 백작약, 오배자, 감초 혼합추출물이 가장 우수한 효능을 나타내어 최종 시제품 선택에 있어 판단의 근거로 채택함.
- 갈변도 억제 및 경도 변화 측정에 있어서도 최종 개발된 천연보존제(백작약, 오배자, 감초 혼합추출물)가 가장 우수한 성능을 나타내었으며, 분무방식보다 침지방식의 효능이 더 탁월한 것으로 평가됨.
6.천연보존제 생산공정 개발 및 제품화
가.천연보존제 시장 경쟁력 분석
-연구에 적용된 43가지 대상 천연물의 국내 확보라인을 조사한 결과,다양한 루트를 통하여 비교적 저가의 해당 천연물을 확보할 수 있음.또한 선별된 천연물 중 감초를 제외한 나머지 천연물에 대해서는 제품화 경력이 없어 제품화할 시 높은 시장성과 제품화 적용가능성이 높을 것으로 분석됨.
나.천연보존제의 식품 적용성 증대기법 개발
-천연물이 가지는 고유의 향을 억제하는 masking기법에 의한 저감화 방식을 적용함.열과 산ㆍ염기에 대해서 안정하며 식품의 저장성을 향상시켜주는 masking제제로서 천연 식품첨가물인 싸이클로 덱스트린(cyclodextrin)을 선정하고,최종 천연보존제에 첨가함으로써 이취를 제거하고 천연추출물 본연의 항균효능을 유지할 수 있는 식품 적용성을 최적화함.
다. 천연보존제 시제품 제작
- 다양한 혼합추출물의 항균효능, 관능, 기능성, 안전성, 경제성을 종합적으로 고려하여 최종 천연보존제 시제품을 제작함.최종 시제품의 성분함량은 혼합추출물(백작약 :오배자 :감초 =3:6:1) 1.0mg/mL 용액 90%,정제수 5%,싸이클로덱스트린 5% 비율의 formulation으로 제조하고, 채소류의 대용량 세척 시 적용할 수 있는 침지형 농축액과 가정에서 편리하게 적용할 수 있는 분무식 희석액으로 시제품을 제작함.

Ⅳ. Results of research development
In this study, we developed two types of natural food preservatives that provide food functionalities and antimicrobial safety for RTE vegetables. Selection of target natural materials was carried out by screening of various medicinal plants and natural materials by evaluating their multi-functionalities including antibacterial, antioxidative, anti-browning, and anticancer activities, and the methodology for optimizing extraction of natural products was developed. Mixing formulation of three natural product extracts (Paeonia japonica : Galla rhois: Glycyrrhiza uralensis) in natural food preservative prototype was determined to maximize properties for preservation and sensory characteristics of vegetables. Final prototypes of natural food preservative were developed as immersion type and spray type, based on the results of evaluation for the application compatibility to vegetables. Overall results of this study are as follow.
1. Evaluation of antibacterial activities for natural product extracts
a. Selection of 43 natural products
- Total 43 classes of natural products were selected to extract antibacterial materials applicable to based on literatures and Korean Food Code (20 natural products used in oriental medicine, 14 flowering plants, 10 deciduous trees).
b. Establishment of protocols for evaluation of antibacterial activities and screening of natural products
- Rapid screening methodology was developed to select appropriate natural product extracts. Primary screening for antibacterial effect and second and third selection screening processes for optimization of effective properties were applied to assure safety and functionalities of natural food preservative.
c. Development of methodology for extraction of natural materials
- In order to test antibacterial and application properties of natural products, aqueous extraction method was developed and applied. To obtain extracts from natural products, extraction was carried out and dried pellet of extracts was collected, solubilized, and filtered to obtain final powder form of extract.
- To optimize the extraction conditions, a statistical program called central composite design was applied. Candidate natural products were smashed and treated with 100%, 50%, and 0% ethanol mixed with water, and extracted with various solvents (100%, 50%,and 0% ethanol), temperatures (60, 70, 80℃), and times (60, 120, 180 min).
- Based on the central composite design analysis, 15 different extracts obtained from various conditions were analyzed for antibacterial effects and extraction yields to determine optimal extraction condition that assures maximal antibacterial activity and yields for each natural products, respectively.
d. Evaluation of 1st antibacterial effects of natural product extracts
- Target bacteria for testing antibacterial effects were E. coli, B. cereus, S. aureus. Evaluation of antibacterial activities of each extract of natural products results in significant effects on the growth inhibition of E. coli by 6 natural products, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cinnamomum cassia, Paeonia suffruticosa, Paeonia japonica, Galla rhois, and Coptis chinensis. Antibacterial activities against B. cereus was determined in 12 natural products, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cinnamomum cassia, Paeonia suffruticosa, Scutellaria barbata, Paeonia japonica, Folium perillae, Mume fructus, Galla rhois, Yuza fruit, Coptis chinensis, Hippophae rhamnoides, and Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner. Significant antibacterial activities against S. aureus was determined in 10 natural products, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cinnamomum cassia, Paeonia suffruticosa, Scutellaria barbata, Paeonia japonica, Galla rhois, Coptis chinensis, Camelliasinensis, Caesalpiniasappan, and Coffee Arabica green bean.
- Significant antibacterial activity against all three species of bacteria was determined by 1st screening and 6 candidiate natural products were initially selected to apply for natural food preservative; Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cinnamomum cassia, Paeonia suffruticosa, Paeonia japonica, Gallarhois, and Coptis chinensis.
e. Determination of optimal extraction condition of selected natural products by 2nd and 3rd evaluation of antibacterial activities
-Total 20 different extraction condition (15 by central composite design and 5 from Mini TAP) for each selected natural product was applied to obtain various extracts of natural materials, which were then evaluated forits antibacterial activities to define optimal extraction condition.
f. Comparative analysis for antibacterial properties of natural products and chemical preservatives
- Chemical food preservatives in global and domestic market and 6 selected natural product extracts were tested for their antibacterial activities. All 4 chemical food preservatives showed antibacterial properties on all three species of bacteria. Significantly higher antibacterial activity on all three species of bacteria were
determined from the extracts of 6 selected natural product, while Glycyrrhiza uralensis and Cinnamomum cassia extract showed specific antibacterial activity on E.coli. These results suggest that the natural food preservative developed as mixture of these natural product extracts will provide effective antibacterial activity and safety.
g. Determination of optimal mixing ratio of the natural product extracts for maximizing antibacterial effects
- Mixing formulation of 6 selected natural product extracts were varied and determined which formulation provide optimal antibacterial properties. The ratio of each materials showing optimal activity areas following; Glycyrrhiza uralensis: Paeonia suffruticosa :Coptis chinensis = 1 : 2 : 7, Galla rhois : Paeonia japonica : Cinnamomum cassia= 7 : 2 : 1.
h. Selection of final natural products applicable to developing natural food preservative prototype
- Based on the results from evaluating antibacterial activity, safety, antioxidative and anticancer properties, and sensory characteristics, 4 natural products (Galla rhois, Paeonia japonica, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Cinnamomum cassia) were selected, and applied to develop the natural food preservative prototype that exhibit 99.9% bacterial killing effects for all three bacteria.
2. Determination of safety for natural product extracts
a. 1st evaluation for safety of natural product extracts
- Treatment of mouse embryonic fibroblast cells with the extracts obtained from 6 selected natural products resulted in no significant effects on the cell viability, suggesting theses natural products do not contain cytotoxic properties.
b. Animal tests for safeness of natural products on human health
- ICR mouse were subjected to test long-term effects of natural products on human health. Analysis of effects on the body weight and liver of mouse fed with natural product extracts showed nosignificant changes. Enzymatic analysis for ALT and AST in these mouse showed normal level of each enzyme, while mouse treated with the extracts from Glycyrrhiza uralensis and Cinnamomum cassia showed slightly increased level of both enzymes. However, large volume of titration of such extracts in the product can avoid such deleterious effects. Therefore, anatomical and enzymatic analysis in animal tests provide safeness of 6 selected natural product.
3. Determination of functionalities of natural product extracts
a. Analysis of anti-browning activities by evaluation of radical scavenging properties of natural product extracts
- To determine anti-browning effects, DPPH radical scavenging assay was performed and determined strong radical removal activity present in natural product extracts. In particular, the extract from Paeonia suffruticos, Galla rhois, and Paeonia japonica exhibits most significant radical scavenging activity at low concentration of 0.1 mg/mL. All 6 tested natural product extracts exhibit radical removal effects applicable to anti-browning materials.
b. Evaluation of antioxidative effects of natural product extracts
- Cultured mammalian cells were damaged by H2O2 treatment, and incubated with
natural product extracts. Counting of viable cells stained with trypan blue showed that the treatment with natural product extracts attenuated cell death induced by oxidative stress. Analysis of cell viability, apoptotic cell death, cell cycle regulation showed that the extracts from Paeonia japonica, Dioscorea batatas, Paeonia suffruticosa, Hippophae rhamnoides, Coffea Arabica green bean, and Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner exhibit cytoprotective effects on oxidatively damaged cells.
c. Determination of anticancer effects of natural product extracts
- Cell proliferation and the expression level of marker proteins were analyzed after treatment of cancer cells including HepG2, HeLa, and AGS with natural product. Extracts from Paeonia japonica, Scutellaria barbata, Paeonia suffruticosa, and Caesalpinia sappan exhibit inhibitory effects on the cell proliferation of HepG2 and HeLa. In particular, most effective anticancer activities were found in Glycyrrhiza uralensis for HepG2, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis and Paeonia suffruticosa for HeLa.
d. Evaluation of functionalities of the developed natural food preservative prototype
- Natural food preservative prototype containing mixtures of Paeonia japonica, Galla rhois and Glycyrrhiza uralensis extracts were tested for antioxidative effect and showd better antioxidative activity compared to chemical preservative as well as attenuating cytotoxicity induced by oxidative stress. Anticancer activity of the prototype was also confirmed by determination of molecular markers related with cancer cell proliferation.
4. Analysis of active components in natural products
a. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of active components in selected natural products
- HPLC analysis of active components in the extracts of selected natural products confirmed effects of each natural products related with each component; Glycyrrhiza uralensis-quercetin, Cinnamomum cassia-cinnamic acid, Paeonia suffruticosa-paeonol, Coptis chinensis-berberine, Paeonia japonica-paeoniflorin, Galla rhois-gallic acid.
5. Determination of application compatibility with vegetables
a. Determination of natural product extracts for the product compatibility
- Selected natural product extracts were tested for sensory characteristics of color, fragrance, and taste. Treatment of carrot with each extract and following sensory test resulted in lower scores for Paeonia suffruticosa, Coptis chinensis, and Cinnamomum cassia caused by their distinct fragrance, in particular, color changes by Coptis chinensis. Higher scores sensory test were obtained for Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Galla rhois,and Paeonia japonica extracts.
b. Effects of natural product extracts on food quality
- Treatment of lettuce, paprika and cucumber was performed by immersion of samples in the natural product extracts or prototype solution, and the changes of vegetable weight were measured. Reduction of product weight was observed lessin lettuce by Galla rhois extract, and less in paprika and cucumberby Paeonia suffruticosa, while no significant changes in overall.
c. Evaluation of natural preservative prototype for the application compatibility with RTE vegetables
- Anti-browning effect of the extracts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Galla rhois, Paeonia japonica, Cinnamomum cassia was tested on kohlrabic, apple, and white rose. The mixture of Paeonia japonica, Galla rhois and Glycyrrhiza uralensis and the mixture of Galla rhois and Cinnamomum cassia displayed most effective anti-browning properties, which provide the principle for the selection of natural products subjected in prototype natural preservative.
- Sensory test for the treatment with various extract mixtures was carried out for lettuce, carrot, and tomato. The mixture of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Paeonia japonica, Gallarhois, and Cinnamomum cassia was selected.
- Determination of texture changes of vegetables and analysis of anti-browning effects indicated that the mixture of Paeonia japonica, Gallarhois, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis provide best functionalities for food preservative. Immersion of vegetables in the mixture appeared to give better effects compared to spray-type application.
6. Development of the product line of natural food preservative prototype
a. Economic and marketability analysis
- All 43 natural products initially applied in this study appeared to be obtainable easily with low price through various routs. Except Glycyrrhiza uralensis, few products with application of food preservative using natural products selected in this study, suggesting competitiveness of our prototype natural preservative in the market.
b. Optimization of application properties of natural food preservative prototype
- To improve application properties of prototype mixture, cyclodextrin, a natural masking component with properties resistant to heat and rapid pH change, was added for masking fragrance and improving the product compatibility.
c. Natural food preservative prototype
- Optimal for mulation of natural food preservative prototype was determined (90% of mixture of Paeonia japonica :Galla rhois :Glycyrrhiza uralensis at 3 : 6 :1,5% pured water,5% cyclodextrin). Two types of preservative prototype were produced; concentrated immersion type applicable in washing large quantity vegetables and spray
type for easy and rapid use.
