성공적 노화를 위한 이동성이 노인에게 미치는 영향은? 선행연구들은 운전과 노인의 삶의 질과의 관련성에 대해 밝히고 있는데 Jang et al.(2009)의 연구에 의하면 65세 이상 고령운전자의 이동성은 자율성, 자아수용, 환경지배력, 긍정적 대인관계와 같은 심리적 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 보여주고 있으며, 노인의 경우 운전을 통해 여가활동을 영위하는 것은 삶에 즐거움과 활력을 부여하는 중요한 요소인 것으로 나타나고 있다(Park & Jung,2013).
