Purpose: The purpose of this study was to contribute to career counseling and career guidance for nursing students by examining students' career decision-making styles and career decision levels and the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making styles and career decision levels. Methods: A descriptive survey design was used and data were collected using questionnaires from a sample of 469 nursing students. The data were analyzed using frequencies means, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 21.0. Results: Career decision level had a significant correlation with self-efficacy and decision-making styles. Self-efficacy (${\beta}=.143$, p<.001), type of decision-making styles rational type (${\beta}=.180$, p<.001), intuitive type (${\beta}=.137$, p<.001), dependent type (${\beta}=-.236$, p<.001) and sex (${\beta}=-.086$, p=.023), school grades (${\beta}=.086$, p=.033), and satisfaction of nursing major (${\beta}=.209$, p<.001) were significant predictors of career decision level. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop effective career support programs according to type of decision-making styles, sex, school grades, motivation to improve nursing students' self-efficacy and satisfaction in the nursing major.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 자기효능감, 진로의사결정유형, 진로결정 수준의 관계를 파악하여 간호대학생의 진로지도 전략을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시행되었다. 연구결과 학년이 높을수록, 학교 성적이 높을수록, 전공 선택동기가 적성에 맞는 경우, 전공에 만족할수록 진로에 대한 결정수준이 높게 나타났다. 진로결정수준은 자기효능감, 진로의사결정 유형 중 합리적 유형, 직관적 유형, 의존형 유형과 유의한 상관관계를 보였다.

후속연구

추후 연구 대상 및 지역을 확대하여 반복연구를 시행하고 연구결과를 일반화할 필요가 있다. 또한, 본 연구결과를 반영하여 간호대학생들이 주체적으로 진로결정을 내릴 수 있도록 진로교육 프로그램과 성별, 학년별로 체계적이고 진로상담이 가능한 맞춤형 진로서비스 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 후속연구를 제언한다. 마지막으로 진로의사결정유형에 따른 진로결정수준을 확인하는 연구를 제언한다.
또한, 본 연구결과를 반영하여 간호대학생들이 주체적으로 진로결정을 내릴 수 있도록 진로교육 프로그램과 성별, 학년별로 체계적이고 진로상담이 가능한 맞춤형 진로서비스 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 후속연구를 제언한다. 마지막으로 진로의사결정유형에 따른 진로결정수준을 확인하는 연구를 제언한다.

	진로결정수준이란?	진로결정수준이란 자신의 전공이나 직업선택과 관련한 진로결정 과정에 나타나는 진로에 대한 확고한 정도를 의미하며(Kim & Kim, 2007) 그 방향을 분명하게 결정하였다면 진로결정 상태, 직업과 관련하여 자신이 나아갈 방향을 분명히 설정했음을 의미하고, 진로결정이 이루어지지 않았거나 추가적인 정보 수집을 위해 연기한 상태를 진로미결정 상태로 분류한다. 특히 대학생들에게 있어서 진로결정은 전공 선택에 대하여 얼마나 확신하고 있는지를 의미한다(Kim & Kim, 1997).
	진로의사결정 유형은 어떻게 분류할 수 있나?	또한, 진로의사결정 유형은 개인이 진로 및 취업과 관련하여 특정한 결정을 내릴 때 선호하는 접근 방식으로(Ko, 2011), 합리적, 직관적, 의존적인 3가지 유형으로 분류되고 있다(Harren, 1979). 합리적 유형은 상황에 대해 정확한 정보를 수집하고 현실적이며 신중하고 논리적으로 의사결정을 내리므로 적극적인 진로계획과 정보탐색, 좀 더 효과적인 진로결정을 하는데 효과적이며, 직관적 유형은 비교적 빠른 의사결정을 내리므로 진로결정에 대해 정확하게 설명 하지 못한다. 의존적 유형은 주변인들의 도움 또는 영향을 많이 받아 결정을내리므로 결정에 대해 책임을 전가하는 경향이 있는 것으로보고되고 있다(Harren, 1979). 선행연구에서 자기효능감이 높을수록 진로의사결정시 합리적 의사결정을 하는 경향이 높고, 자기효능감이 높을수록 진로결정수준이 높았다(Jeong & Park, 2009; Jeong, Won, & Lee, 2013).
