간접효과의 통계적 유의성 검정을 위해 Bootstrapping 방법을 사용한 결과, 청소년의 다문화수용성과 문화적 공감의 간접효과는 p< .05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 검증되었다.
그리고 다문화경험이 공감능력에 이르는 경로과정의 영향력들 중 문화적 공감이 공감능력에 미치는 영향력이 가장 크고, 다문화수용성이 공감능력에 미치는 영향력이 다음으로 높았으며, 다문화경험이 다문화수용성에 미치는 영향력, 다문화경험이 문화적공감에 미치는 영향력 순으로 나타났다.

셋째, 문화적 공감은 일반적인 공감의 범주에 머물지 않고 다양한 문화집단과의 의사소통을 가능케 하는 것으로서 휴먼서비스를 제공하는 현장실무자 뿐 아니라 전문가 집단에게도 요구되는 것이다. 그러므로 전문 인력을 양성하는 프로그램의 내용으로서 반드시 포함되어야 할 요소이다.
