HPS의 장단점은? | 간호학에서 초기 시뮬레이션 실습에서는 고가의 장비인 환자 시뮬레이터(human patient simulator, 이하HPS)를 교육 방법의 매체로 이용하였지만 인간을 완전하게 대체할 수 없는 단점이 있었다[8]. HPS는 학생들이 환자를 평가하고 중재하는 등의 술기 실습에서 대체 이용할 수 있지만 환자와의 의사소통 능력이나 신체사정 능력을 배양하는 데는 한계가 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 방법으로 간호학에서 표준화환자(standardized patient, 이하 SP)를 이용한 시뮬레이션 실습이 부각되고 있으며, 학생들은 SP와의 상호작용을 통해 환자들의 생각과 느낌을 깨닫게 되므로 교육적 가치가 우수한 방법으로 의학, 간호학 실습 교육에서 다양하게 활용되고 있다[9]. |
