치매란 무엇인가? | 치매는 기억력 및 실행 기능 감소를 동반한 인지기능의 점진적인 퇴화를 특징으로 하는 포괄적인 용어로[7-9], 치료가 어렵고 특수한 기술과 올바른 지식, 긍정적 태도를 겸비한 전문간호인력과 치매 환자 개인의 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 인간-중심 돌봄(Person-centered care, PCC)이 요구된다[1,10-14]. 그러나 치매 간호인력의 주축인 간호사들의 치매에 대한 관심, 이해 및 지식 정도는 부족한 실정이며[15], 치매에 대한 태도가 부정적일수록 간호에 대한 부담감은 증가하는데[16], 미래 치매간호 인력인 졸업 전 간호대학생들의 치매에 대한 지식과 태도 함양은 학부과정동안 적절하게 이루어지지 않고 있다[1]. |
