신체적 억제대 사용률을 보고하기 꺼려하는 이유는 무엇인가? | 또한 병원 실무자들은 시설의 신체적 억제대 사용률을 보고하기 꺼려한다[8]. 신체적 억제대는 의사 처방에 의한 실무임에도 불구하고, 요양병원에서 신체적 억제대 사용에 대한 일차적인 의사결정은 대부분 간호사가 한다[9,10]. 간호사의 의사결정에는 실무에서 신체적 억제대 사용을 간호사가 어떻게 인식하고 있는지가 중요한 요인이 되고[5], 신체적 억제대 사용에 대한 근거기반의 지식이 높을수록 억제대 사용에 대한 태도가 부정적으로 변화하여 실무에서 신체적 억제대 사용이 감소한다[8,9,11]. 따라서 간호사의 신체적 억제대에 대한 지식, 태도, 인식, 실무 등이 신체적 억제대 사용에 중요한 결정요인이 되며, 이러한 결정요인에 관한 연구는[6,12,13] 대부분 장기요양시설에서의 연구이다. |
