문제 정의

자료수집 전 연구대상자들에게 연구자가 직접 연구의 목적과 배경, 방법 및 절차, 연구 참여 중단, 개인정보 보호여부를 설명하였고, 연구결과는 순수 연구목적으로만 사용되므로 개인의 비밀이 보장됨을 설명 후 서면동의를 한 대상자에게 설문지를 배부하였다. 필요한 표본 수는 147명에서 탈락률 20%를 고려한 176부를 배부였고 총 170부가 수거되었으며, 미기재 혹은 불충분한 응답을 한 설문지를 제외한 156부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다.

이론/모형
본 연구에서 셀프리더십은 Houghton과 Neck [20]이 개발하고 Shin[21]이 번안한 도구를 사용하였다. 3가지 변인과 9가지 하위영역이며, 행동 중심적 전략은 자기목표설정, 자기보상, 자기관찰, 자기단서, 자기처벌으로 자연적 보상전략은 자연적 보상 하위변인으로 구성되어 있고, 마지막 건설적 사고전략은 성공적인 수행 상상하기, 자기 대화, 신념과 가정분석의 총 35문항으로 구성되어 있다.
본 연구에서 의사소통능력은 Hur[15]이 개발한 Global Interpersonal Communication Competence Scale(GICC)를 Bae[16]가 수정·보완한 도구로 하였다. 이 도구는 총 15문항으로 이루어져 있으며 문항 10, 11번은 역 문항으로 처리되어 있다.
본 연구에서 임상 실습만족도는 Cho와 Kang [18]의 도구를 Lee, Kim과 Kim[19]가 수정·보완한 도구를 이용하였다. 실습교과, 실습내용, 실습지도, 실습환경, 실습시간, 실습평가로 구성된 총 31문항으로 5점 리커트 척도로 구성되어 있다.
