본 연구는 유아교사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족도 및 교사-유아상호작용 간 관계를 알아보고, 임파워먼트와 직무만족도가 교사-유아상호작용에 미치는 영향을 대해 고찰하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상인 유아교사 550명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 각 변인을 측정 후, SPSS 26.0을 활용하여 Pearson 상관관계분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시했다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 유아교사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족도 수준이 증가할수록 교사-유아상호작용의 수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족도는 교사-유아상호작용의 질에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 수준 높은 교사-유아상호작용을 예측함에 있어서 임파워먼트가 직무만족도 보다 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
