최근 인공지능의 발전으로 ChatGPT가 등장하게 되면서 다양한 산업 분야에 많은 변화를 일으킬 것으로 예상되고 있다. 특히 교육분야에서 ChatGPT를 도입하려는 시도가 적극적으로 이루어지고 있으며, 사서교사에게 있어서 ChatGPT를 활용하는 것은 미래적인 학습도구로써 필수적인 요소에 해당될 것으로 보여진다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 학교도서관 현장에서 ChatGPT를 도입하는 것에 대한 사서교사들의 인식을 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 통해 살펴보고자 하였다. 최종적으로 '학교도서관에서의 ChatGPT 도입에 대한 인식, ChatGPT를 활용한 교수-학습 활동, ChatGPT를 활용한 실질적인 운영, 성공적 수행을 위한 고려사항, 사서에게 필요한 역량과 환경(인프라), 학교도서관에서의 ChatGPT 활용 서비스 발전 방향' 6개의 주제를 도출하였으며, 이를 토대로 ChatGPT 활용 교육 서비스 필요성에 대해 제언하였다. 본 연구는 학교도서관 현장에서 ChatGPT를 도입하고자한 최초의 연구로 의의가 있다.
