Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that affect nursing students' performance on standard precaution of infection control. Methods: For the analysis of the study results, mistakes and percentages, descriptive statistics, Pearson's coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: Among the participants, 76.5% received hospital infection education, and 72.5% experienced an exposure to blood or body fluid, and the most of the exposures were occurred during the first semester of the third year. The knowledge score was $20.08{\pm}2.09$, the awareness score was $4.63{\pm}.41$, and the performance score was $4.34{\pm}.55$. In the relationship between the standard precautions knowledge, awareness, and performance, the awareness and the performance were in positive correlations, while the factors that affected the performance level of the standard precautions were awareness and the school year (third year), which had 37.0% of the total exposures. Conclusion: In order to increase the performance level of the standard precautions among the nursing department students, after identifying the differences between school years and demands of the students, it is necessary to provide continuous and regular education of standard precautions.

따라서 본 연구에서는 간호대학생의 병원 감염관리 교육 현황과 혈액·체액 노출 정도를 조사하고, 표준주의지침에 대한 지식과 인지도 및 수행도와의 관계를 확인한 후 수행도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여 표준주의지침 준수를 위한 효율적인 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용하고자 시도하였다.
제안 방법
본 연구에서 병원 감염관리 교육 현황을 조사하기 위해서 병원 감염관리 교육 경험 유무, 교육받은 기관, 교육 방법, 그리고 감염관리를 위해서 필요한 교육 요구도에 관한 문항으로 총 4문항으로 구성하였다.
본 연구에서 혈액 체액 노출 정도를 조사하기 위해서 노출 경험, 노출 시기, 노출 후 불안감 정도, 노출 시 담당 업무, 노출 후 조치 사항에 관한 문항으로 총 5문항으로 구성하였다.
본 연구의 자료 수집은 2016년 9월 1일부터 10월 20일까지 실시하였으며 연구자가 간호대학생에게 개별적으로 설문지를 배부하고 작성하게 한 후 직접 회수하였다. 총 230부의 설문지가 배부되었으며 회수된 설문지 중 불성실하게 응답한 17부를 제외한 213부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다.
대상 데이터
본 연구의 대상자는 J도 소재의 4년제 간호 대학에 재학 중이며 현재 병원 실습 중인 3학년과 4학년 학생으로 본 연구의 목적과 취지를 이해하고 설문에 동의한 간호대학생으로 실시하였다. 대상자 수는 G-power 3.
본 연구의 자료 수집은 2016년 9월 1일부터 10월 20일까지 실시하였으며 연구자가 간호대학생에게 개별적으로 설문지를 배부하고 작성하게 한 후 직접 회수하였다. 총 230부의 설문지가 배부되었으며 회수된 설문지 중 불성실하게 응답한 17부를 제외한 213부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다.

이론/모형
본 연구에서 표준주의지침에 대한 수행도를 측정하기 위해서 표준주의지침에 대한 인지도 측정 도구와 동일한 도구로 사용하였다. 총 8개 영역 36문항으로 각 문항은 5점 Likert 척도를 사용하여 ‘항상 수행한다’ 5점, ‘자주 수행한다’ 4점, ‘가끔 수행한다’ 3점, ‘거의 수행하지 않는다’ 2점, ‘전혀 수행하지 않는다’ 1점을 배정하였다.
본 연구에서 표준주의지침에 대한 인지도를 측정하기 위해서 2007년 개정된 CDC의 표준주의지침[15]을 수정·보완하여 사용한 Hong 등 [10] 표준주의지침에 대한 인지도 측정도구를 저자의 동의를 받은 후 사용하였다. 본 도구는 손 위생(10문항), 개인 보호구(9문항), 호흡기 에티켓(3문항), 치료 기구 및 물품(2문항), 환경관리(2문항), 린넨(2문항), 안전한 주사 행위(5문항), 직원 안전(3문항)의 총 8개 영역 36문항으로 구성되었다.
본 연구에서 표준주의지침에 대한 지식을 측정하기 위해서 Suh와 Oh [14]가 개발한 표준주의지침 내용을 문항화 한 지식 도구를 저자의 동의를 받은 후 사용하였다. 총 25문항으로 ‘예’, ‘아니오’ 혹은 ‘모른다’로 표시하도록 하였다.

둘째, 병원 감염 예방의 중요성 증가와 함께 교육의 중요성도 증가되고 있다. 이를 위해 교육프로그램 계획 단계에서부터 학생들의 학년별 교육 요구도를 파악하여 실제적으로 유용한 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 다양한 방법으로 교육이 이루어질 것을 제언한다.
추후 연구를 위한 제언으로는 첫째, 본 연구결과는 일부지역의 간호대학생을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였기 때문에 이를 전체 간호대학생의 결과로 일반화하는 데 한계가 있어 추후 대상자를 확대하여 반복 연구하기를 제언한다. 둘째, 병원 감염 예방의 중요성 증가와 함께 교육의 중요성도 증가되고 있다.
