치위생과 교육과정중 임상실습은 어떠한 과정인가? 치위생(학)과 교육과정 중에 임상실습은 매우 중요한 부분으로 대학에서 배운 과학적 지식과 기술을 바탕으로 치과 의료기관에서 실제 환자를 대상으로 하는 진료내용을 관찰하고 때로는 보조업무를 직접 수행하기도 하는, 전반적인 치과위생사의 업무를 경험해 볼 수 있는 과정이다[1]. 이러한 과정을 통해 미래 치과위생사로서의 업무를 원활하게 수행 할 수 있도록 하고, 임상적 판단과 대인관계의 이해를 학생 스스로 현장경험을 통해 전문치과위생사로서의 자질과 능력을 배양하고 있다[2].
